In 2021, industrial living is still an enormous interior design trend. Would you like to know how to give your interior an industrial character? Read on quickly because we give you useful tips!

Inspiration for an industrial interior
An industrial interior is robust and spacious with a vintage touch. It has a raw look where bricks, concrete, scaffolding tubes and metal are often still clearly visible. Keep the space clear by choosing a few big eye-catchers, such as a sturdy factory lamp, leather sofa or steel dining table.

5x useful tips and inspiration for an industrial interior
1. Choose raw materials. Perhaps the most recognizable in an industrial interior is the concrete wall. This is one of the most raw materials that you can use in your interior. Even a sturdy brick wall is indispensable in this trend.
2. Go for sober colors. The color palette is far from colorful and consists mainly of black steel, gray concrete or brown bricks. Yet you can give it a warm twist by adding the colours cognac or army green.
3. Think big. The industrial trend is often applied to loft homes. What you see is that large and striking accessories such as king-size plants and striking ornaments are used. Not everyone can live in an old factory. Fortunately, this style is very versatile and easy to apply in any interior.
4. Choose unique eye-catchers. With this style you see a lot of unique and tough accessories. These are, as it were, the eye-catchers of your interior. Think of robust and large wall decoration and tough factory lamps.
5. Add warmth with wood. All those tough materials may seem a little chilly. That's why you can make the whole thing a little warmer with, for example, a wooden sliding door or decorative ladder.
