Check whether the soil of this houseplant is moist by feeling it regularly. 

    3: Monstera deliciosa

Although this cool houseplant looks very innocent, it is very toxic to animals and humans. The Monstera deliciosa has a strong air-purifying effect and prefers not to stand in full sun. Put the Monstera deliciosa in a spot in the shade, here it will grow into a large houseplant. This is not the only thing this houseplant needs, also make sure you water the Monstera weekly. 

    4: Pachira aquatica 

    The Pachira aquatica is also known as the money tree. In the Far East, people believe that the leaves of this houseplant can catch money. So this houseplant is a perfect gift for a housewarming or birthday. The Pachira is native to the swamps of Panama, Costa Rica and eastern Brazil. This green houseplant needs some water every three weeks, but aside from its demand for water, the Pachira is not at all demanding. Be aware, however, that in winter the humidity in the house is often a bit lower. A Pachira does not like this. To solve this problem, you can give the houseplant some extra water during the winter period. Give the Pachira preferably a place in normal daylight. 

    5: Alocasia Macrorrhiza 

    With its large green leaves, this Alocasia Macrorrhiza immediately catches the eye! This houseplant is not only a cool addition to any bedroom or living room, but it also purifies the air. So you can be sure that you do not ingest harmful substances. This houseplant is 150 cm high when delivered and can grow to a height of 160 cm. In the jungle, where its roots are, this houseplant is used to shelter from the rain. 

    6: Alocasia Zebrina 

    A green houseplant with special appearance and striking large leaves. This houseplant is indispensable in your interior! When you receive this green houseplant it is 100 cm high. If you give the plant enough attention and love it will grow to a height of 140 cm. This houseplant has some requirements. The soil of this green houseplant must be moist and make sure you water your Alocasia Zebrina every week. Be careful, too much water is very bad for this houseplant. Put the Alocasia preferably in a place close to the window, here it has enough direct sunlight. 

    7: Philodendron Funbun

    The Philodendron is a family of almost 500 species of houseplants. You can distinguish these houseplants from each other by looking closely at the leaves. Not every houseplant in this family can survive as a houseplant in the house. This Philodendron Funbun has a special appearance and immediately attracts attention in any room.     8: Alocasia Stingray 

    The name says it all, this houseplant belongs to the Alocasia family. These houseplants are also called elephant ear. A nickname that the Alocasia owes to the large leaves.     9: Ficus Lyrata 

    Ficus Lyrata originally comes from Africa and is also known as a tobacco plant. When this houseplant is delivered to your home, it has a height of 180 cm. Ficus Lyrata can grow to a height of 210 cm. The large leaves of this houseplant are immediately noticeable!
