Care & tips Caladium - 65cm
The Caladium is not a difficult plant to look after, but it is a bit more sensitive than other plants. Make sure the plant is in the right position and water it several times in small amounts rather than in one big watering can.
Water requirements Caladium - 65cm
The Caladium needs medium amounts of water. Always try to keep the soil slightly moist but be careful not to water too much. Too much water can cause root rot and this is difficult to save. We recommend feeling the soil carefully each time to determine whether it is already time for another watering. If the soil is already very dry after 2 days, you may water the Caladium again. If the soil is still very wet after a few days, we recommend waiting a while. Has the plant been repotted? Always use a moisture meter!
Light requirements for Caladium - 65cm
Place the Caladium in a bright spot, but try to avoid direct sunlight.
The plant does not appreciate direct sunlight. The leaves may burn or die and the production of new leaves will not be stimulated. So make sure not to put the plant in front of a sunny window.
Is the Caladium - 65cm poisonous?
Yes, the Caladium is unfortunately toxic if ingested. So be careful with small children and hungry pets.
