This pack consists of 4x White world orchids.
What a picture. With its snow-white leaves, the White World orchid will certainly stand out! With its bright white colour, this houseplant fits into any interior and any room. The White World orchid is a Phalaenopsis orchid. This means that it blooms a bit longer. Orchids from the Phalaenopsis family are also called Butterfly orchids. Originally, these flowering houseplants come from the rainforests of Asia, New Guinea and Australia. Here they grow as epiphytic plants, meaning they get their nutrients from the air and not from the soil. Handsome, isn't it?
It is often thought that caring for the White World orchid is a big deal. However, this is not true at all. In fact, the White World orchid is an easy houseplant to look after. What more could you want? A beautiful appearance and an easy-care houseplant.
The White World orchid is an easy houseplant to take care of. Similarly, watering this houseplant is anything but complicated. However, the way of watering is slightly different from what you are used to. We advise you to remove the entire plant from the pot and put the root ball in a container with water. This way, the roots can absorb the water well and you avoid giving too much water. Do let the root ball drain for about 15 minutes to prevent the leaking water from accumulating in the pot. This could cause root rot.
The right location and thus light requirement is very important to keep this houseplant healthy. You should give the White World orchid a spot with plenty of indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can burn the leaves. The ideal position for this houseplant is far away from a heater and out of draughts.
The White World orchid is absolutely non-toxic. It is therefore a super animal-friendly houseplant!
The White World orchid is a Phalaenopsis. This means that this houseplant can flower up to 3 times a year, of which the flowering period is 2 to 6 months. You don't need to cut off the stems of the White World orchid to get a new flowering. Do the stems get too long? Then you can cut them off and put the flowers in a vase.
