Product description
At Green-Bubble we sell various specimens of Polyscias, the Polyscias is a houseplant that does well in any space! If you have trouble choosing between the different specimens, we have the perfect solution for you. With the Polyscias mix you get three great eye-catchers in one go. A great deal that also looks great in your living room!
The mix consists of the following three types of Polyscias:
Polyscias Fabian
The Polyscias Fabian has a sturdy trunk from which several branches grow. These branches each go their own way, giving each plant a truly different look. The Polyscias Fabian has leathery dark green leaves that can also have a purple glow.
Polyscias Ming
This variety distinguishes itself from its family members by its unusual leaf, the Polyscias Ming has frayed leaves. This houseplant also has more leaves, so the stem(s) are not very visible. So it really is a green houseplant!
Polyscias Balfiana
The Polyscias Balfiana looks a lot like the Polyscias Fabian, but the leaves of these two plants are different. The leaves of the Polyscias Balfiana are dark green, but the tips have a white margin. This gives the houseplant a slightly fresher look.
Care Polyscias
All three Polyscias in this mix require the same care. Read on to find out how to get the most out of your houseplant.
Water needs of Polyscias
In the summer months, the soil should always be moist and absolutely not allowed to dry out between waterings. We advise you to water small amounts several times, as this is better than watering large amounts all at once. The Polyscias will be able to absorb the water better and this way you avoid having a layer of water in the pot. This can lead to root rot and is not good for the health of the plant. The Polyscias needs less water in the winter months because it uses less water. We recommend that you regularly check the soil before adding new water.
The light requirements of Polyscias
These houseplants prefer a sunny position and are not sensitive to direct sunlight. The Polyscias also do well in a place with only daylight. This houseplant needs at least 3 to 5 hours of light a day to develop properly. The Polyscias is a sturdy type. Once it is in position, it is better not to move it anymore. After purchase, there is a good chance that it will drop its leaves because it has been placed in a completely new environment. Do not worry, the Polyscias will recover on its own.
Is Polyscias a poisonous houseplant?
None of the three types of Polyscias is poisonous. So you don't have to worry about where you put these houseplants if you have small children or pets.
How is the Polyscias shipped?
The Polyscias mix is delivered in its own pot. All our houseplants are sent in specially designed boxes. The unique interior of the boxes makes sure that the houseplants stand firm in the box and cannot move. Houseplants don't mind being in a dark box for a day. This way, we make sure that your green friends are delivered to your home in tip-top shape.
