Ficus Benghalensis Audrey, also known as 'Choke Plant', has been given this nickname due to its unique and slightly aggressive growth habit. In India, Ficus actually climbs up on taller trees, strangling them as it were and lowering its roots to the ground. Thus, Ficus Audrey takes the victim's place and can grow to great heights! In India, the tree is sacred and is called the Banyan Tree.

Ficus Benghalensis Audrey is not a difficult plant to look after. Just make sure you put it in a sunny spot and are aware of the right care. This way, Ficus will come into its own best and you will be able to enjoy it for a long time. Give Ficus Benghalensis Audrey some extra nutrition every so often in the summer months. We do not recommend this in the winter months, when the plant is in a dormant mode. Feeding Ficus in dormant mode can damage the plant.
