Ficus Robusta is not a troublesome plant. However, this houseplant is sensitive to new environments. Should Ficus grow to one side, do not move the plant all at once but turn it a little every day. We also recommend spraying the leaves regularly.

Water requirements of Ficus Elastica Robusta - 140cm

The soil should always be slightly moist. In the beginning, give the plant small amounts of water several times, after a while you will know approximately how much water the plant needs. Watch out for too much water.

Light requirements of Ficus Elastica Robusta - 140cm

Ficus Robusta on a stem likes daylight, so it prefers a bright spot close to a window.  If the Robusta stands in a place that is too dark, it will not grow new leaves. Be careful during the summer months, when direct sunlight can be too intense. For this period, move the plant to a spot with fewer hours of sunlight per day.

Is Ficus Elastica Robusta - 140cm poisonous?

The leaves of the Robusta are toxic to pets and children. Ingestion of the plant is strongly discouraged. The sap contained in the plant can cause skin irritation. So be careful with this plant if you have children or pets.
