The Ficus Benjamina likes a moist soil. If the soil is dry after a few days, it is time for some water. If the soil is still wet after a few days, it is better to wait. Do not feel this at the top of the soil but a little deeper into the soil. This is the best way to determine the plant's water requirements and prevent root rot.
