Water requirements Echinocactus - 40cm

As you might expect, the Echinocactus 40cm does not need much water. In warm times you can water the Echinocactus once a month. In cold times, once every 3 months is even sufficient. Please note: absolutely do not over-water. This easy houseplant does not like to bathe in water at all. 

Light requirements Echinocactus - 40cm

The Echinocactus is a very easy houseplant. This prickly pear actually demands very little. Place it in the light or the dark, the Desert Cactus will survive! Of course, as a desert houseplant, the cactus likes the most sunlight, but this is not necessary. 

Is an Echinocactus - 40cm poisonous?

When white milk (spurge) comes out of the Echinocactus it is poisonous. Avoid ingestion at all costs. Also watch out for the sharp spines! Do not sit on it by accident.
