Wout

Wout is extremely popular! These green musclemen are flying out of the greenhouse and we understand why. Wout is the green superhero for any interior. Wout, the Pachira Aquatica has been nicknamed the ''Money Tree'' because this plant is a symbol of financial prosperity and happiness in Eastern tradition. Originally the Pachira comes from the swamps of the Costa Rica, East Brazil and Panama. Place it in a spot in normal daylight and water it once every 3 weeks.

Banana plant 

Also such a fan of bananas and plants? How lucky! This banana plant has it both ways. Bring the tropics into your home with the Musa Nana, also known as Banana Plant or Dwarf Banana. Place the Banana Plant in a sunny spot and make sure the soil is always kept slightly moist.

Ficus Lyrata branched

This variant of Ficus Lyrata is branched and therefore gives a nice wild effect to your living room. In the wild, Ficus can grow up to 30 metres (!) high, but don't worry, the plant will keep a low profile in your home. Place the Ficus in a sunny/light place to keep it healthy. The soil should always remain slightly moist.

Care & tips 

These houseplants are all easy to care for. Of course, although they are easy to care for, that doesn't mean you can leave them completely to their own devices. Make sure you are always aware of the best care for your green friends. These three houseplants need plenty of water every week. Not sure if you are watering enough? Then regularly feel the potting soil. Is the soil dry? Then give it some extra water.

Light requirements 

Wout prefers to be in normal daylight. The Pachira does not tolerate direct sunlight well and its leaves can burn as a result. The Banana plant and Ficus, on the other hand, are real sun worshippers. These plants prefer to be placed in as much light as possible.

Are the Wout, Banana plant and Ficus poisonous houseplants? 

Are you a real animal lover? Then it is good to check whether you have chosen animal-friendly houseplants. The houseplants in this combi deal are not animal friendly and are slightly toxic. So you would rather not have these in the vicinity of your faithful animal friends.
