Care & tips Ficus
These two lovely Ficus trees are ready to transform your home into an urban jungle.
Ficus is not difficult to take care of. Make sure the plants are in as much sunlight as possible and they will shine for you. Make sure that the soil always stays slightly moist, but beware of too much water.
Ficus needs water
Ficus likes a slightly moist soil. Feel this for each plant by digging in the soil with two fingers. Is it still damp from the previous watering? Then it is better to wait a little before watering again.
Ficus needs light
Ficus likes to be in as much sunlight as possible, preferably in front of a south-facing window. Sunlight makes sure that the leaves keep developing and the plant stays healthy.
Is Ficus poisonous?
Yes, unfortunately, Ficus is poisonous. The sap that is released when the leaves are cut can be irritating to the skin.
Care & tips Monstera
The Monstera, also known as the Hole plant, is a beautiful and unique houseplant. The name 'hole plant' says it all: the leaves are full of gigantic holes. The plant is easy to care for and easy to position.
Water requirements for Monstera
The Monstera does not need a great deal of water. The soil may be slightly moist. Is it still damp from the previous watering? Then it is best to wait a little before watering again.
Light requirements for Monstera
The Monstera likes to stand in normal daylight with even mostly shade. Even in a spot with a little more shade, the Monstera does just fine. Try to avoid direct sunlight, however, as this can cause the leaves to burn.
Is the Monstera poisonous?
Yes, unfortunately the Monstera is poisonous. So be careful with small children and pets.
Care & tips Syngonium
The Syngonium is not a difficult plant to look after. Make sure that the plant is in the right spot and that you water it several times with small amounts of water rather than in one big pour. The Syngonium will soon be happy in your home. If the Syngonium is too dark, it will show this by not producing any new leaves.
Water requirements for the Syngonium 'Trileaf Wonder
The Syngonium Trileaf Wonder needs moderate amounts of water. Always try to keep the soil slightly moist, but be careful with too much water. Too much water can get stuck at the bottom of the pot and cause root rot. This case is often difficult to save. We recommend feeling the soil with two fingers to determine whether it is time for a new watering. If the soil is already very dry after two days, you can water your Syngnonium again. If the soil is still very wet after a few days, we recommend waiting a while.
Light requirements for the Syngonium 'Trileaf Wonder
The Syngonium Trileaf Wonder likes a light spot, but try to avoid direct sunlight.
Unfortunately, the plant does not appreciate direct sunlight. The leaves may burn and die, and the production of new leaves will not be stimulated. Make sure, therefore, that you do not place the Syngonium in front of a sunny window.
Is the Syngonium 'Trileaf Wonder' poisonous?
Yes, unfortunately the Syngonium Trileaf Wonder is poisonous if ingested. So be careful with small children and hungry pets.
