The plant is not difficult to look after. Ideal for anyone who does not have green fingers. This Coconut palm is delivered in our mega hip basket Jack. All you have to do is pick a spot. In summer, the palm may receive some extra nutrition once a month. We do not recommend this in the winter months, as it may damage the plant.

The Coconut Tree - 150cm is not difficult to take care of. However, because of its origins in the tropics it does need slightly higher humidity than other plants. Avoid placing the palm in a draught and spray the leaves regularly to ensure this.

Water requirements Coconut palm - 150cm

The Coconut palm -150cm may be watered when the soil is dry. Make sure that the water does not sink to the roots. This can cause root rot and is often difficult to save. It is best to feel deep into the soil with two fingers. If the soil deeper down is still moist, the palm doesn't need watering yet. Only when it is dry in this area should the palm be watered again. Spray the leaves regularly to keep the humidity level high.

The Coconut Tree - 150cm has a poor tolerance for direct sunlight, although you would think that this tropical plant would. However, it prefers a light spot without too much bright sunlight. The leaves can burn from too much sunlight and as the plant does not have very many leaves, not much remains in that case. The palm can be placed outside in the summer. Bring the palm back inside if the temperature drops below 15 degrees Celsius.
