The soil should always be slightly moist. In the beginning, give the plant small amounts of water several times, after a while you will know approximately how much water the plant needs. Just be careful not to give too much water.

The Australian King Palm prefers to stand in as much light as possible. Indoors, this may even be a spot in front of the window, outdoors it may be normal daylight to semi-shade. This is because the direct rays of the sun outside can be a bit too hot.
