Elephant ears go limp when they get too little water. The Alocasia likes it when the soil is constantly slightly moist. Check regularly with your finger whether the soil is still moist.

Alocasia love sunlight. Make sure that this large houseplant receives at least 5 hours of sunlight every day. 

Is the Alocasia poisonous?

The sap of the Alocasia can cause irritation to the skin and mucous membranes.
