      The Kalanchoe... It is known as the best-lasting, flowering plant. And let's just have a lot of them! But of course you want to know how you  can best take care of the Kalanchoe. Then you're on the right page!

      A trip down memory lane..
       There are more than 200 species of Kalanchoes, of course we do not have all of them but with us you will come a long way. Many of these toppers come from Madagascar.

      Location
      The Kalanchoe is not the most difficult. He does it in the sun, but he also has a great time in the shade.

      In the summer months you can also put the Kalanchoe outside in the garden or on the terrace.

      Watering
      The Kalanchoe belongs to the succulent family and therefore stores a lot of water. When the soil around the plant has completely dried up, you can give it some water again. Make sure that the ground is not too wet! He does not like this at all and his leaves will become spongy and die. For the rest, he thinks everything is fine so that is nice and easy!

      Help! Discolored or hanging leaves...
      Do the leaves of the plant show yellow or brown edges/spots? Then this is usually a sign of too much water because actually this plant prefers too little water than too much. It easily goes without water, but of course always keeps an eye on your plant for the best results.

      The Kalanchoe and pets
      Be careful with pets, because the juice of the Kalanchoe is poisonous.

      Kalanchoe cuttings
       Kalanchoes are never enough. Nevertheless? Want to expand your kalanchoe family yourself? That's possible!
